2007 Pinot Noir, Split Rock, Sonoma Coast

The color on our inaugural vintage is a deep intense purple color with some ultra-violet hues. There are aromas of red raspberries, cherry cola, some light spice and pepper, as well as some cedar. It's very smooth and delicate overall, with acid and tannins that will also allow some cellaring.

2008 Pinot Noir, Split Rock, Sonoma Coast

With our second vintage from Split Rock, we have a dark ruby red color. Bright, ripened cherries, hint of floral and blueberry, and a touch of sweet oak are the primary aromas. Red fruit flavors permeate with a solid acid core, a hint of clove and pepper, and well balanced mouthfeel. With less natural tannin than our '07, this spent a few extra months in barrel to pick up some structure. Drinks wonderfully now.

2008 Pinot Noir, Two Pisces, Sonoma Coast

Our deepest colored and most opaque of our current releases. The aromas of raspberries, black cherries, pomegranate and hibiscus are present. Hints of roasted marshmallows, white pepper and black tea appear after a little breathing. The tannins are smooth with a nice, bright acid to complement the cherry and dark chocolate finish.

2008 Sauvignon Blanc, Galleron Road, Rutherford

Our first and only white wine shows bright lemon and lime aromas accompanied by passionfruit, green apples and gardenias. Over time, hints of quince and wet stones emerge. The crisp acidity is bright and refreshing, and complements the mellow apricot finish.

2009 Pinot Noir, La Encantada, Sta. Rita Hills

This beautiful wine from the Sta. Rita Hills AVA has a lovely dark garnet color and is already drinking wonderfully. Black cherries, black raspberries, white pepper and asian spices will perfume the air when pouring into the glass, and are backed up by light hints of cedar and red hibiscus flowers. The first taste is anchored with more dark cherry flavors, held in place by a silky mouth-feel and soft tannins. The lovely acidity keeps your mouth watering while the finish continues forever.

2009 Pinot Noir, Doctors Vineyard, Santa Lucia Highlands

Slightly darker in color as compare to the La Encantada, the aromas of this wine are stunning and floral. Violets, rosehips and pomegranates fill the glass, followed by deep red raspberries and the occasional hint of oak sawdust. A little breathing tames the floral overtones and allows the darker fruits to emerge. In the mouth, a bright acid balances out the raspberry jam flavors. Light tannins complement the fruit and help support it through the long finish.
